As I said, yesterday I had $18 in the bank. I was about $3 really overdrawn of expenses I was expecting to hit. I'm more overdrawn than that with expenses I wasn't really expecting to hit.
I got a refund today from that awful SMC for $99.95. I was expecting to have to take them to the woodshed to get my money back because they're so awful. They still owe me $29.95 that they deducted and haven't sent back. Anyway, that put my balance to $118, then I had a $30 hit -AFTER THE REFUND.
It's a Christmas miracle! No wait, not Christmas yet. So now I have $88 in the bank. I feel positively rich - which is very important here.

This brings my bank balance to $18.33, which puts me about 3.00 short unless some of the other things that MIGHT clear DO clear, then I'm in bigger trouble.
Here's hoping there's money in my mailbox.

Yesterday, I spent 1.98 on iTunes for two songs to help me get in the mood for my new business venture.
I also went to the farmer's market and didn't have enough cash, so I got some out of the ATM. That turned out to be not so great an idea because I spent all of it and $3.50 on the privilege to do so.
But here's how I spent it:
*$5 on ripe tomotoes. I get Bon Appetit magazine and have been frustrated that I haven't been able to cook in the way I normally like to. It had a BLT on the cover and I began to CRAVE them. There's a booth at the farmer's market which sells great tomatoes normally - I think all the floods this year have made them a little less than great, but they were still better than the grocery store. I had the most FABULOUS BLT yesterday - it was rich, decadent and delicious.
*$5 on green tomatoes. I heard someone discussing them on a radio show and had a hankering for fried green tomatoes.
Wish I could've gotten a smaller amount, but this was as small as they go - so I'll be doing fried green tomatoes for the whole office - don't want them to go bad.
$1.70 on a soda after being out all day.
$1.89 on an iced coffee while in a bookstore.
$10.61 at WF for some potato salad (I was starving and when going GF, you don't get to eat just anywhere), bacon (for the aforementioned BLT) and a water.
This pretty much killed all I had!
But it was worth every cent.

I spent $2.50 for a drink at a club tonight and gave a .50 tip.
I almost got a hamburger after work but I decided I didn't want one. Good for me!
