 Even mo' money

Spent $4.43 on dry cleaning.
$6.48 on shoe repair
$24.76 on stuff I forgot at Whole Food.

$6.42 on stuff I shouldn't have been eating at Sonic, but why lie? I wanted a burger. I was also stressed and trading behaviors.

I still have $10 of mad money and about $3 beyond that.

I have $40 for whatever is the biggest emergency- electricity or loan. I stopped by the pay the loan, but the system was down.

 The rest of the story

Filled up with gas, $39.53 - hey, at least it's below $40 a tank now. (Never thought I'd be grateful for gas at $2.69 a gallon...thanks, George Bush.)

Cashed a check for $850, $836.36 is for rent and water. Spent $1.98 on money orders for rent because I'm afraid of bouncing something.

Put a $10 in my purse to keep for "mad money."

Spent $66.29 at WalMart for groceries for two weeks. That's lower than usual and only got the essentials like eggs, frozen fruit (smoothies every morning), fresh fruits, vegetables, carpet cleaner, coffee, stuff like that.

Spent $26.95 at Whole Foods for stuff I can't get at WalMart like olives, cranberry juice, rice drink, stevia, GF cereal - just the essentials. Got additional $50 in cash to pay whatever ends up being the biggest priority.

The leaves me roughly $90 (including the $50 in cash I have) and here's what I have NOT spent yet:

$25 for new printer cartridge
$40 for hair cut, don't get me started on the color and highlights
$80 for past due to my mail order drug company
$65 for the next three months of meds (nearly out)
$300 for loan payment
$155 for electric bill
$5 for dry cleaning
$10 for car wash
$76 for rent insurance

This is $756 for what I need this week, not to pay off everything.

So God, if you're listening, I need a miracle here.

Will call electric company and see if they can hold my payment until the 15th. Will pay for dry cleaning and car wash. Will keep bad hair for awhile. A couple weeks without the thyroid meds won't kill me. Will pay what I can for the loan payment, so they don't just debit me. The rent insurance will have to wait until next time when they'll require the entire payment of $303. Don't like it, but don't have other options unless God wants to pull of a good one.

Next pay period will be challenging as well because I'm going on vacation. I need the break pretty badly, and I'm taking two weeks off. I have a free ticket from my mother to go see my sister in LA, so I won't have to spend much, but still, you hate to go on vacation and not spend ANYTHING. Then I'm going to my best friend's in San Fran. Same thing.

I've also noticed that I've had no time to spend on the new business. This is partly true, and partly resistance and discouragement. Since my paycheck didn't come in until yesterday (wasn't late or anything), I didn't have the weekend to do these errands and tasks. Planned on doing some before work, but didn't get out in time. Planned on doing some at lunch, but had a vendor meeting pop up. Planned on doing after work, but I had forgotten about a party I needed to attend for a friend. So I did all of them in between and didn't get in bed until late.

This means I still haven't done much with the business over the weekend (some, not much), haven't ironed (my safety net when I'm feeling like I don't know what to do next - Hey, I'll iron), and still need to do a few tasks.

(It was a Rotary party, which my boss is a member of and I'm not (yuckkkkkkk), but I like that group of people. The host was in a leadership class with me and is very cute, although married. He was incredibly kind to me when my father died.)

I beginning to ramble, but I guess that's a true reflection of my energy now. Scattered.

 Already I'm regretting ordering stuff

Because I went ahead and made payments: I transfered $20 to my savings; I paid $174.59 on my phone bill; 156.88 on my car insurance. I still owe $154.19 on electric bill, which will leave me a grand total of 62.10 for my hair, groceries, gas, dry cleaning, etc. for the next two weeks.

AND I haven't bought printer cartridges yet.

What's a girl to do.

 Damn, lost a page

My paycheck is here, yippee. So is the $29.95 return from SMC.

I spent $75.59 on quicken because I'm going to be more organized in my books, both personal and professional.

I also spent $32.95 on a compact for bare minerals. I bought the bare necessities last time and a girl needs touchups.

I'm trying to buy printer cartridges as well, but can't get through yet.

Today I will also spend $840 or thereabouts on rent.

I need gas, a car wash, pick up pants at the dry cleaner, pick up a shoe at shoe repair, buy groceries at WM and Whole Foods, pay some down of that awful loan, pay the car insurance, electric bill, phone bill.
